Wangtone
Wangtone is a common project realized by the French dub band High Tone and the Chinese producer Wang Lei.
Wang Lei isn't a dub producer. His music is a kind of electronica which is very own. The band High Tone meets him in a tour in China after the album ADN. The result was a friendship between them perhaps more than musical. And, one year after, they meet again in France for a musical residence and a live collaboration. From this second meeting, born a French tour.
Wishing to save this musical rendezvous, the artists decided to go together in studio and record the meeting and the work they made. From taht is published the album “Wangtone, Wang Lei meets High Tone” under a CD/DVD format which includes tracks made by High Tone and Wang Lei together but also some new songs of each artists available only in this record.
